Since last summer, I’ve been living and working here at camp as a part of the resident staff doing whatever I can to make sure camp is perfect for everyone this summer. When I’m not working, I like to run down Camp Hardtner road, watch Netflix, and go get gas station snacks. I can’t wait to see everyone this year to play games, sing songs, and enjoy the beauty of camp!

Hey y’all! My name is Zoe Thompson and I chose to work at camp for another summer (ahhhh) because last year I got to help campers develop long lasting relationships, safe spaces that enable open communication, and connections to camp that they’ll never forget, so I want to continue to facilitate these life-changing experiences for campers for as long as I can!
If you’re looking for more Zoe fun facts, I go to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and am officially majoring in environmental studies and studio art! I’m a big fan of ultimate frisbee, playing piano, walking out and about in nature, making any kind of art I humanely can (except for pottery and ceramics, I’m just so bad at it), and hanging out with my sweet baby Beatrice who is a Chinese dwarf hamster.
You should 1000% send your kids to camp because it’ll give them a moment to catch a break from the overwhelming-ness of the real world and help them learn how to create meaningful and spiritual communities everywhere they go 🙂
