Hi everyone! My name is Emily Knight (usually Em at camp) and I am beyond excited to be Head Counselor for this summer! I am originally from Baton Rouge and have spent the last four years at Fordham University in the Bronx. I plan to go to law school after graduation and pursue a career in environmental law to hopefully work in public policy some day! Camp Hardtner has been a huge part of my life for a long time now, and I can’t wait to be back and create a great summer for our campers!

Hello everyone! My name is Emma Minyard, and I am super excited for my first summer as a media manager for Camp Hardtner. I am originally from Dallas, Texas but currently live in OKC, Oklahoma. At the moment, I am getting a degree in graphic design from UCO, and plan to work for a studio at some point. I am very excited to expand my photography skills and capture lasting memories for everyone at camp.
Hey everyone!! My name is William Salvaggio, and I’m proud to say that I am on staff at Camp Hardtner for the first time. This will be my 8th Summer at Camp Hardtner. I am from Metairie, LA, and I am at ULL majoring in psychology. I love being with my friends, listening to music of all types (always looking for new recommendations by the way), and overall just vibing. Camp has been one of the greatest gifts of my life, and I can’t wait to help that gift to keep on giving!
Hiiiiiiii, camp! I am Annabel Partington from Shreveport, Louisiana. I currently attend UL where I am majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. I am so thankful to return for a second year on Permanent Staff to serve at such a healing, loving place, all while creating more beautiful memories. My favorite fun song is “Little Black Box,” and I WILL sing it as often as I can (this is both a warning and a promise). I am counting down the days to be back at Camp Hardtner, see you all again, and meet some new faces. Peace and love!
Hi y’all! I’m Fiona Doran from Metairie, Louisiana. I’m a rising sophomore at Illinois Wesylan– double majoring in studio art and elementary education. I’m also a rising cancer, gemini sun and cancer moon. 🙂 After spending all of my summers as a kid at camp, I’m thrilled to be a part of camp staff! Making bracelets, memories, and new friends are some of my favorite camp activities that I cannot wait to do with y’all!! I’m looking forward to playing messy games, having dance parties and being a part of some awesome devo sessions!!
How’s it goin’ everyone! My name is Alex Melcer and I cannot be more excited to be on staff again this summer. Not only is this my second year on staff, but it is also my second year at camp in general! I am from Belle Chasse, Louisiana and am currently pursuing my bachelors in Health and Exercise Science at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. When I am not working or doing stuff for school you’ll probably find me running, reading, or spending time with my friends. I am so excited to be coming back to Camp Hardtner this summer! Between the camp games, chapel time, and devo, I’m ready to make this summer the best one yet! Be ready to see me jumping around outside on registration day because I will not be short on energy and excitement!
Hello friends! I’m Emma Cook coming all the way from Denton, Texas! I am currently studying Political Science at the University of North Texas with the hopes of eventually becoming a high school government teacher!! When I’m not in class, you can find me either working at my local coffee shop or hanging out with my sorority sisters (chi o till i die o baby!!!). This will be my twelfth summer at camp and second summer as a counselor! I’m so grateful to come back to the place we all call home and share a summer of laughter, messy games, fun songs, and worship with all of you!!

I love the outdoors, making friendship bracelets, and hanging out with friends. I can’t wait to see everyone and look forward to making this the best summer yet!
Hey guys! My name is Kasidy, but most of my friends call me Kas! I’m from Bayou Blue, Louisiana and attend college at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. I will be entering my junior year in the fall, majoring in Dietetics. When I’m not doing school work, working at a local restaurant in Thibodaux, babysitting, or planning sisterhood events for my sorority, you’ll typically catch me spending time with my cat, family, or sorority sisters, working out at the gym, or cooking! This will be my VERY FIRST summer at camp ever!! I am so excited to have the opportunity to experience what I’ve heard to be “The BEST camp EVER!” I’m definitely looking forward to this summer and can’t wait to make so many memories… and friendship bracelets!

Hi everybody! I’m Isabelle (most people call me Iz) Lewis, and I’m from Shreveport, Louisiana. I’m a Junior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I’m studying Psychology with a minor in music. This will be my second year on staff and my 12th summer going to camp! My favorite hobbies include making music, drawing, dancing, meeting new people, and learning from them. I am so excited to be a part of another great summer at Camp Hardtner. I can’t wait to see all the new and familiar faces that make camp such a special place!
Hey everyone!! My name is Hannah Mills and I’m from Lake Charles, LA. I’m a rising sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Environmental Science! I spend most of my free time time listening to music, shopping for sweaters, and searching for a good alternative to Community Coffee here in the north. I’ve been going to camp for as long as I can remember and I’m so excited to be on staff this summer. I can’t wait to meet you amazing people and make some super great memories!
Hiya my name is Avery, and I am from Thibodaux Louisiana. I am going to be a Junior in Accounting at Nicholls State University, and I am also the Head Photographer and Photo Editor for Nicholls’ yearbook and magazine. This will be my 6th summer at camp and my 1st summer as a counselor. I’ve dreamt of being a counselor for as long as I could remember, and I vow to wear any bracelets that people make for me.

Howdy, everyone! My name is Ellie, but I go around these parts as “Bug.” I love camp with all my heart and I cannot wait to get back for my second summer to give everyone allllll the love I have for them. Currently, I am in school at ULL, studying communications. When I am not at camp or studying, I am a barista at Jet Coffee and a friendly face at Good Eats Kitchen. AAAAANNNND when I am not doing any of those things, I like to do yoga or paint or play guitar or take a nap. For twelve years, camp has granted me the tools to create beautifully intricate relationships with myself, God, and all the children of the earth. Camp continues to guide me through life, and has helped me stay on track to become the best me! I am blessed to say I get to be present this summer while the campers also go through this.
Hi y’all! I’m Beau LaFleur and I’m from Lafayette, Louisiana. I’m a freshman at UL, majoring in Child and Family studies and am genuinely so stoked to be on staff. This will be my 8th summer at camp and my 1st year on staff. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be a part of the staff and help camp happen. Camp has been a constant source of community and experience for me and I hope that this summer I can contribute to that.
Hey Hardtner!! I’m Abby Gremillion from Pineville, Louisiana, a small town just down the road from camp! I am an upcoming junior at Louisiana State University studying kinesiology pre- physical therapy with a minor in special education. After more years than I can count of being a camper, this will be my first summer as a counselor! Camp Hardtner runs deep in my family tree and I am beyond excited to be out in the woods with everyone this summer! Hey everyone, my name is Jack Guidroz and I am from Mandeville, Louisiana but I currently live in Golden, Colorado where I just finished my degree in mechanical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. In my free time I love to play guitar, cook, watch random history videos on YouTube and play video games. Camp Hardtner has always been a very big part of my life and I am very excited to return for my second summer on permanent staff!
Ayo beautiful people! My name is Michael Walker, but everyone at Hardtner decided I will only be called Mike. I am from Monroe, LA and am currently working as a representative for Bird Co. in Louisiana as a fleet manager, as well as working as an actor and stunt-man for various film/TV projects. When I’m not working, I typically like to work out, rock climb, play guitar, cook, and especially love to hang out with my friends and family. This will be my 6th year at camp, and I am beyond stoked to step into my first year as a camp counselor! Hellooooooo Camp Hardtner!!!! My name is Hanna Grace Poole but most like to call me H.G. I am twenty years old, and I am from West Monroe, Louisiana (Go Rebels!!). I currently go to school at Louisiana Delta Community College for an associates degree in Business. I spend most of my time on the side with my dog or making pies at Not Just Pie. For now you can catch me serving up some four square with all of my new friends. Hardtner is a place that has always given me an abundance of joy that I continuously carried throughout my days.
