First Camp

First Camp is for campers going in to grades 2, 3, and 4 along with a guardian.
This two night session is a mini-version of our longer sessions packed in to one weekend. First Camp introduces children and parents to sleep-away camp, and specifically to the Camp Hardtner experience–one of the best around! Children stay in cabins with their counselors and cabin mates and begin creating bonds that can last a lifetime. Parents also stay in cabins separate from their children, and are encouraged to participate fully in the daily camp activities and be campers themselves.
Our hopes are threefold:
- parents and children enjoy the shared experience of a weekend at summer camp
- exposing the child to camp to better prepare them to attend longer sessions
- giving mom & dad a taste for Hardtner to better prepare them for their child being away for the longer sessions
First Camp is a great way to test the waters for both your child AND you. You get to experience life as a camper right beside your kid!
The cost for this camp session is $175 and includes registration for both child and adult, meals, canteen, milk and cookies, camp t-shirt, and camp picture.
