Susan Walpole Named Summer Camp Director For 2017
We are very happy to introduce (though most of you probably know her) Susan Walpole as our Summer Camp Director for 2017!
Susan is a Metairie native and first came to Primary Camp in 1980. She didn’t miss a summer after that and got to spend some extra time at Camp many summers while her parents were on Camp Staff, babysitting for other Camp Staff kids and more.
Susan is the Volunteer Director for What You Give Will Grow – Thomas Morstead’s Foundation (Saints and Pro Bowl Punter), a member of the Camp Hardtner Summer Camping Committee, a member of the Passion Committee for the American Heart Association, and the WebMaster for St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Metairie.
Her new role at Hardtner includes expediting summer fun for our campers by handling administrative duties, overseeing the summer program, and having fun. Please give Susan a warm welcome and be sure to say hello when you see her this summer!
