Dear Santa, from Camp Hardtner
We’ve sent our letter to Santa!
While we’re waiting on Santa’s reply, perhaps you would be interested in being Santa’s little helper and checking out the Camp Hardtner Amazon Wishlist.
(If you checkout through smile.amazon.com and choose to support Hardtner Camp & Conference Center, Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase back to Camp!)
If you would like to give in other ways, you can donate through our website or contact the office by calling 318.765.3794 or emailing office@camphardtner.org.
Dear Santa,
Some people might tell us that being 70 years old is too old to write to Santa. We disagree. The way we see it, you’ll regularly find us playing games, singing songs, and being silly. That should count for something.
We are writing to you with our Christmas wish list, though we must admit, you won’t find anything too exciting on there. We’re old enough to appreciate the simple things, but these items would really make a difference to us and to the experiences we provide for our guests and campers.
Santa, we’re not so different than you here at Camp Hardtner. We are about what you’re about: joy, generosity of spirit, sharing good cheer, and believing that the world can be transformed through the way we treat people.
We have been very good here this year: we have shared those values with about 2000 people. That’s not nearly as many as you, but we’re always trying to serve more people.
We know you’ve got a lot on your hands to prepare for next week, and we hope that you’ll be able to make a stop here at Camp. We promise to leave out milk and cookies for you!
Wishing you, Mrs. Claus, all the reindeer, and all the elves a Merry Christmas,
Camp Hardtner
P.S. We’ve got availability if you need a place to hold a retreat for you and all the elves!
